@Julaha: I respect to your knowledge and interest in greatest epic like Ramayana. But I am absolutely unhappy with you logic or imagination regarding word you have used in Makardhwaj's birth story ["drop of his sweat (must have been s***n technically) dropped"]. Please don't use kaliyug's cheap things and logics into Ramayana or such epic. If you can't accept anything technically, let it be. But please don't put your own assumptions as logic, which are actually very very much disappointing.
i completely agree with Mukesh...itzzz because of guyz lyk u(Julaha)zats sacred fact are being ...... by the new generation.
ihave a great intrest on ramayan from childhood
i love very much ramayan
All these "assumptions as logic" is ruining the real thing. If you cannot translate please dont do that.
ramayan tells us that how to behave
its really nice learning about this ramayana quiz i am too very happy about this i am requesting u all people to give still more questions and improve our brains thanks a lot
never understood the logic of sending your son to vanvaas on the advice of a house maid and then the same son on returning from exile throws out his wife on the hearsay ofanother maid only to proove he is very honourable king. never gave the lady a chance to proove her innocence.
VERY GOOD QUESTIONS,IT WILL GIVES A LOT OF INFORMATION AND I GOT 17 OUT OF 20
nice question huh ..
the quiz is good
it was exellent it enriched my knowledge keep ask that kind of questions
those who don't hav trust in our lord ram's story , they are truly demons and they hav no value of living any more
I agree with HKS "If you cannot translate please dont do that." or else the knowledge sharing would have been good
Mr Mk, u knew nothing about Ramayan, nor me... in fact, many of the present generations... those who knew never had time or chance to share the same to the unknown... so I advice you, without knowing anything don't comment on it...
Thanks for this portal, it's been a very good platform to get connected with many knowledged and enthusiastic people about our epics.. and share what we have, learn what we don't know I admire this attempt of the site owner & the people working on it, & my fellow people looking into this pages.
No one needs to prove their sincerity before their own people, for the others knew what we are... no one needs to prove themselves before those who don't "WANT to believe", because they will not agree with us anyways... so, Sita need not prove herself... &both Ram & Sita are aware of this same thought... they need not tell it out... ok Mr. MK? this answers your last point... & regarding your other point, Mandhara, so called maid was once beaten by some child when they were playing and when she was in same street... she mistook the kid for Ram, as he was also one of the kid playing there... & she felt to take revenge from then... this way, she took that chance when Lord Ram was supposed to b made the king...THIS SAYS, WHETHER IT'S LORD OR LAYMAN, ONE MUST SUFFER FOR THE MISTAKE THEY COMMIT...now, Kaikeyi is a step-mother for Ram, so she felt the logic Mandhara was saying is correct...now one must realize that what others saying may always not be good to us, so we should NOT LISTEN TO OUTSIDERS OR LET THEM INTERFERE IN OUR PERSONAL MATTERS... THIS IS A LESSON FOR PEOPLE ON HOW TO LIVE, FROM KAIKEYI'S BEHAVIOR.... & now Dasaradh, though didn't like to send out Ram, had to agree for Kaikeyi's conditions, as he has to keep his promises... this says, whatever the trouble may be, ONE MUST KEEP HIS WORDS AND PROMISES.... This way, Lord Ram is sent to forests...okay? This is not an explanation to your irresponsible questions but a knowledge share for illerterates on Ramayan, who don't know anything on these concepts are not sure how to interpret the epics... From the above said little examples, we can understand that RAMAYAN teaches us how to live, & Lord Ram showed it to all of us practically.
RAMA RAMA JAYA RAJA RAMA RAMA RAMA JAYA SITA RAMA; HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE
According to legend, the poet who wrote the Ramayana was originally a thief. One day he tried to rob a sadhu, who of course owned nothing. The sadhu gave him a mantra: "Mara" (evil). Valmiki liked it and kept repeating it, and he gradually became a better person. Then he realized that when he was saying "mara mara mara" he was also saying "rama rama rama." He then wrote the Ramayana in honor of the god who had changed his life.
